The mini star cutters I use are from PAC-PEN and they can be found on the website here: https://www.agneshorvath.co.uk/pac-pe... I used FIMO Soft Polymer Clay for these decorations, but any well-known brand is suitable for this technique. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for baking or curing your clay. I used a Pasta Machine dedicated to Polymer Clay, to create blends/thin sheets and condition the clay. My Pasta Machine is an Atlas 180, and it has setting 0 as its thickest and 9 as its thinnest. There is a standard way of calculating the thickness of clay required, by using stacked playing cards. On my machine the thickness are as follows: Setting 0 = 8 playing cards (2.5mm), setting 1 = 7 (2.25mm), setting 2 = 6 (2mm), setting 3 = 5 (1.5mm), setting 4 = 4 (1mm), setting 5 = 3 (0.75mm), setting 6 and 7 = 2 (0.5mm 0.33mm), setting 8 and 9 = 1 card (0.25mm 0.15mm). Thank you for watching. Most importantly, have fun with your polymer clay creations!
