third time in a session is the charm :) this is my third completed 1 hour test within a few hours, so I'm pretty proud I can just keep typing on and on =) (and a little ashamed I have nothing better to do). My former 181 WPM world record was my very first attempt, done a long while ago when I wasn't as awake, as endurant (thank you, monkey-type challenges!) and as determined. Shazzy and Foggy both scored a low 188 and a 183 respectively, so that gave me extra motivation to beat them! My goal was just to at least beat Foggy, but when I did my second test I knew I had it in me to become the champ once again. I barely missed out on 190, but still managed to beat godshazzy's insane score :D I had a huge pause at 28:45 because my monitor was going to turn off in 5 minutes and I had to fumble a little, so without that I think 190 would have been in the bag. Shazzy promised he would only ever do this 1 hour test once, so I'm curious who's gonna end up beating this score. Maybe Foggy? Speaking of Foggy, he taught me that accuracy is a mindset. I disagreed with him on discord, but now I see his point: After the first (blind!) test of 180 WPM a few hours ago with an accuracy of 92%, and the second one soon after with 95% that was 100 keystrokes less than shazzy's 188, I tried to 1. keep a good flow 2. slow down on hard words that I frequently failed in the second test 3. type lightly, and it worked out wonderfully in my estimation. I was able to burst without making as many typos... my accuracy still turned out to be 95%, but yeah I think my better flow gave me the extra 2 WPM from 200 raw to 202 raw, ultimately allowing me to sustain a respectable 190 WPM over an hour. I created a playlist of some awesome tracks that lasts just a bit over one hour, it's here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2Xx...
