Podstrana is one of the best peaceful beach location you can find near Split, Croatia. Only a 15 minute drive from Split, in Podstrana you can find perfect pebble beaches, and with much less crowds than in the city. With over 4 kilometers of beaches, this small town could be your best option when it comes to finding more calm, holiday vibes around Split. In this video, we will show you the main beach area, as well as Gornja Podstrana, which is another part of town, located more in the hills. I've been to Podstrana countless times, because it is basically like a suburb of Split, and it is really easy to get there, regardless if you are going with a car, or a public transportation, which is really well organized.
