A Tribute To My Mom

I created this piece as a tribute to my mother, who passed away on March 2, 2025. This work is an offering of praise to God for His sovereignty and for being her Creator—the One to whom she dedicated her entire life. It reflects her journey as a woman who found deep love, brought five children into the world, and remained steadfast through life’s greatest trials. After losing her husband, my father, in 2007, she continued to stand as a pillar of strength—someone her children could always count on. She raised us in the fear of God, and in love and unity. And when it was time to say goodbye, we fought hard for her. But in the end, we came together—stronger than ever—bound in the same love and unity she so faithfully instilled in us. Thank you to the beautiful dancers who came together to help bring this tribute to life.
