Exilis Ultra is an amazing non-invasive procedure used to target stubborn fat cells and loose skin. It uses radiofrequency and ultrasound technology to heat fat cells in a specific area, causing the targeted fat cells to breakdown through a process called lipolysis and then they disperse. The thermal energy also increases the body’s natural ability to produce collagen; as a result, your fat cell volume decreases, and your skin tightens and becomes more youthful in appearance. Each treatment is roughly 30 minutes long. While some patients report a difference after one treatment, we generally recommend 4 to 6 sessions for maximum effect. These sessions are spaced out by a week, and the results are often noticeable for up to two years after treatment. As for side effects, there are virtually none. You may notice some pink coloring around the treatment area for 15 to 30 minutes after the procedure.
