VERY rusty demon very rusty pipeline by qMystic and more Worst Fail - 52% Level Rating - 9/10 Enjoyment - 9.5/10 Attempts - 10,497 beyond speechless at my experience with this level. i've always had an immense fondness for a lot of parts of this level, and thought i would pull it up to try out for a bit. i spent a total of 4 days with this level which is just ridiculous for something of this difficulty (and a 3rd hardest by aredl!) the second half of this level is significantly harder than the first, with the ball and ship making it quite difficult to close out runs. day one i learned 15-100 and only got 62-100 in 1 run. day 2 i got 47-100 and also learned the start and discovered a huge issue: the blue orb chain at 11% was very very difficult for me: it has a hard jump in with an inconsistent lineup, the orbs cover your cube so you lose visual reference, and the timings of the orbs are very awkward. i ended that day with 31% as a best. day 3 i tried to grind out 36-100 to no avail (6 last ship attempts) and also got my first robot attempt. after a long break i also got the level in two runs by getting my first wave attempt dying to 52%. i noticed myself getting frustrated with the 11% orbs so i cut the session short. finally, day 4 i wasnt initially going to play but i got sucked in and tried for 36-100 again for a while before just Skipping it and pretty much fluking 23-100 with only 5 attempts to the ball/ship from 23. i modified my click pattern for the orbs at 11% to hit the third one late and it made the click significantly more tolerable (albeit still hard, i could just blame myself more for failing there). i got another wave attempt but died to 50, and then 8 minutes later got my 3rd wave attempt and just . Didn't die. i beat the whole level. i still can't believe this happened because i consider 36-100 to be like 80-90% of the difficulty and only reached the robot 12 times Total from 0. because i fluked the level, and fixed my problem with 11% (i actually messed it up on my completion attempt because i clicked a 4th time by accident), i found this level to be a near perfect experience. the level is also just very very unique and has some of the best theming in any extreme. my favorite parts are the robot, wave and both ships. i do to some extent wish i was playing with shakes especially for the wave but i found the last ship to be too dizzying with shakes so to just have a smoother experience i turned them off.
