Video talk first, then background: I have Imperial here for of course, the Cut damage to hit the boss' weakness, as well as the TP surplus from her break. Hero, I mostly try to keep my skill usage for while I'm in boost so I can spawn an Afterimage. But if i attack with a skill before my Afterimage disappears, it's a bit of a waste, which is why i use a normal attack when I have an Afterimage up. I could have used a Break on my final Boost, but eh. My Arcanist didn't do her job well at all this fight. Even so, I should have saved her boost anyway, and tried to wait until the disables wore off, so I could reset him. In the end though, I was able to make do without disables for the majority of the fight. They just would have made it easier. The princess is there for healing, and attack boosts. Not much too say here. And for my Zodiac, I had done some math and figured out the best way to spend my TP/Force so that I could get the most damage out of her. Unfortunately, the head bind at the beginning put a bit of a damper on that, since I couldn't Boost and throw out Stars on turns 2-4. I would have been able to finish a turn or two earlier if not for that. If my Imperial had gotten arm bound, it would have taken a few more turns to win. All in all, this fight isn't really hard. If you have passive healing of mostly any kind, you're not in too much danger unless you get really unlucky with his binds and/or poison. And of course, I took care to only use gear that would have been available at this point in the game. I actually did have a +5 Drive Blade when I was here originally, but I don't think I needed it, and I didn't want to farm for more drops. Now for background: So, when I play EO where I don't have a set party, I make one of each class (at least). As you can imagine, EXP is kinda hard to keep coming for all my members (I like to keep them about the same level), especially when you have 28 Guild members. So, when I first encountered this boss, I was level 2. But I decided to try fighting it anyway, and I actually made decent progress with the team i had at the time (Ninja, Ronin, Hero, Zodiac, Arcanist), and in that fight, I got the download on this boss. So I swapped the Ninja and Ronin - who were much to squishy for this fight - and brought in an Imperial and Princess, for reasons i outlined above. My first fight against him with this team actually took like 28 turns, so I'm surprised this one went so fast.
