LED lights can be a very expensive cost for indoor aquaponic systems and greenhouse systems. My research focused on utilizing low-cost LEDs lights that could be easily sourced and that were a third the purchase cost of the expensive LED horticultural lights. I will preface this with I don't know how this all will work using these lights for aquarium grow lights and I do plan on trying to grow some aquarium plants under them but in most cases I think these would be over kill with an exception regarding them $80-$100 lights.
