She runs Wowgals, a makeover company which helps transform men into women via make-up. Most of her clients are trans women who want to learn about hair and makeup, or people who have come out as trans and are exploring their own identities and femininity. But a number of Patti's clientele are also cis straight men - often with wives and children in their public facing life who want to enjoy the experience in secret.Her mother, her best friend, was able to cope with Patti coming out as gay. But her mother said that if Patti was trans, I would kill myself. She kept her feelings bottled up because she was afraid she would lose her mother if she was transgender.
