Growing Talent Employer Interest Clip

A revised update of Growing Talent - 2nd programme back in 2014. As we approach our 37th programme in May and have a new brand refresh, it seemed fitting to adapt a favourite clip! Growing Talent has evolved over the years. From a 12 week journey aimed at under 25s, it's now a five week journey for anyone over 18 - no upper age limit! We do things differently to reveal the hidden talent in our local communities. No cvs, job descriptions, nor formal interviews. Instead insightful employers select via two stages. The first we call 'employer speed dating' a fun event where everyone gets to know a little about each other. Shortlisted applicants then go forward to the 1-2-1 stage on the employer's site for a full, mutual chat. If offered an opportunity, a permanent role is ring fenced, participants attend Growing Talent's life and workplace skills week known as Orientation and Holistic before going on the employer's site to start learning all aspect of the role. Both side evaluate each other on the journey. During this period, participants are paid at the full rate of the end role they are training in, receive full travel and retain their benefits! On completion, both sides are confident the fit is right for them. We now have over 200 people who have gone into their roles on successful completion and since grown these into great careers. Our unique collaboration between us, unemployed people, employers, community groups and JobCentre Plus has consistently delivered results. Want to join us?
