Imprecatory Prayers in Culture of Moloch | Paul Gowdy | Maple Abolition

In September 18-20, 2025, as part of the Maple Abolition Mission & Conference, a group of abolitionists gathered in Mississauga, Ontario to focus on the abolishment of the monstrous evil of child sacrifice in Canada. Paul Gowdy was raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He became a Christian in the Presbyterian Church at 15 years of age. His conversion kept him out of prison by following a family tradition of "political activism." At 16, he started preaching the gospel on the doorsteps of many homes in Belfast to both Loyalist & Republican communities. He spent his weekends doing street evangelism and outreach. At age 21, he started training as a missionary in Scotland. It was there that he met his Canadian wife, Christine. He immigrated to Canada in 1991, settled here and God graciously gave us five children. He joined the Vineyard Church shortly after his arrival in Canada, became a pastor and served there during a time known as the 'Toronto Blessing.' After 4 years of pastoring, the Lord started to open his eyes to the deception associated with this movement & its "Blessings". He repented and renounced such practice and ended up, because of his opposition, becoming a very much despised ex-charismatic. This has led him in recent years to opposing much of the Statist church in Canada when they closed their doors and complied with the State during their covid mandates. He planted a small 1689 Particular Baptist Reformed assembly & determined to assemble no matter the cost. After a couple of years, the Church in Canada returned to her normal and he shut down that small assembly. This talk was originally recorded on Sep. 19, 2025, at 8:30 PM.
