Looking for high quality VR accessories for your Quest 2? Check out VR Cover. They make some of the best accessories around - https://vrcover.com/#Maraksot78 This is an affiliate link so I thank you for your support of the channel. :) One of the things that sets the Quest 2 apart from other virtual reality headsets currently on the market is the fact that it's a stand alone device. It can play VR games without the need to be connected to a powerful gaming PC which most all other headsets depend on. But what if you're wanting to play games that are only available on PCVR like Half Life Alyx? Do you have to purchase another headset like the Vive, HP Reverb G2 or Valve Index? The answer to that question is No. The Quest 2 can be used for PCVR too using a Link cable or even wirelessly using Air Link or Virtual Desktop. One of the problems many encounter however when using the Quest 2 for PCVR is the graphics looking soft and blurry. The Quest 2 sports a pretty high resolution display of 1832 X 1920 pixels per eye so things shouldn't look blurry at all, in fact they should look pretty sharp and clear. In this tutorial you'll learn how to fix this problem buy turning up the Quest 2's resolution and refresh rate for playing PCVR games. You'll also learn the importance of your PC's hardware when it comes to just how high you can set the resolution and refresh rate as well as the importance of having a WiFi 6 (802.11ax) router when playing wirelessly using Air Link or Virtual Desktop.
