#acrylicpouring #fluidart #bloomtechnique #pearlpour Hi guys! Thank you so much for being here 🥰 I was in experimental mode today, adding different ingredients to see what effects it would achieve. A triple video for you today, videos 1 and 3 are on an 8'' square canvas and video 2 is a 12 x 16'' canvas. Base for video #2: 150ml Acrylic Paint (I used Eraldo de Paulo, but any will do) 450ml Australian Floetrol (thinner than American, so this needs to be taken in consideration) 75ml Polymer Gloss Medium and Varnish (I used Holcroft) 75ml Matte Varnish (I used Jo Sonja, I mistakenly said Atelier in the video) Splashes of water to reach the consistency shown in the video (thin absolutely no trace, resembles milk). Base for videos #1 and #3: 300ml Acrylic Paint (as above) 500ml Australian Floetrol 75ml Polymer Gloss Medium and Varnish 75ml Matte Varnish Splashes of water until it reaches a thin consistency, similar to milk. Colours in video #1: Jo Sonja Rose Pink #Colourart #Prizmpour in Pink Diamond wit a blob of Deep Violet by Liquitex added. I mixed my colours with Australian Floetrol and water (didn't measure) until it reached the consistency shown in the video. I used the same consistency for my colours in all 3 videos. CA/Swipe Colour: Liquitex Gouache in Fluorescent Opera Pink mixed with Australian Floetrol. I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around and inch above the surface. Video #2: Atelier Blue Black Jo Sonja Rose Pink Pebeo Iridescent Green Blue Colours mixed as in video 1. Video #3: Atelier Blue Black (Indigo) Pebeo Iridescent Green Blue Holcroft Daintree Colours mixed as in video 1. CA/Swipe Colour: Atelier Blue Black, mixed with Australian Floetrol. I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around and inch above the surface. Outcome: They all dried as appeared when wet, surprisingly enough! I had expected the Dutch pour to go a tad crazy, I did think my base was too thin for it though as didn't much care for the huge amount of pearls. I will try again with my thicker mix and maybe not use the blue black and go for purple or ultramarine to brighten it up as the base does tend to ''eat'' the colours similar to Satin Enamel. My hairdryer was bought from Kogan and the brand is Estelle, I used cool setting, low fan https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/estelle-... Thanks in advance it's: paypal.me/Nikidfluidart My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too. My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, they can be purchased from https://fluid-art.co/ or independent art stores.
