Helicopter Skiing Alaska with Points North Heli

This is the first week of our season here at PNH and I thought I would share with you my other life. All of my past videos have been of myself and friends flying. This is really what has given me the opportunities in life that I have and am extremely thankful for. I have been running my own heli ski operation in Cordova Alaska for the past 23 years. This video is about the 1st week of our season that we have just competed. I write this as we begin week 2 of 2021. This is a look into a few days I had in the field this week. 3 days this week to be exact. I had 21 runs. One of the days I spent with my 10 year old daughter Kinley. She continues to blow me away with her athletic talents. You will see where see is pretty much hanging with all of the adults in steep terrain and perfect deep powder conditions. Proud dad here no doubt. We cruise and creep into areas in our tenure doing snow evaluation at various elevations and aspects. Early season always provides cold snow on all four sides of the mountain. Thats the part I really love about this time of year in the mountains. I think you will enjoy the helicopter flying as well in this one. I have incredible respect for our pilots. Thankfully, we have been flying with them (North Star Trekking out of Juneau) for nearly 20 years! Theres nothing quite like Alaska. This has always been my home and always will be.
