Brief video of Hazrat Qasim Ibnul Hassan Taboot in Hussainia Islamic Mission Mission Bradford-UK Qāsim ibn al-Ḥasan (قاسم بن الحسن) was the son of Imam Hasan ibn Ali (the second Shia Imam and the elder grandson of the Prophet Muhammad) and the nephew of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (the third Shia Imam). He was martyred at the Battle of Karbala on the 10th of Muharram, 61 AH (October 10, 680 CE), at the age of only 13/14 years old. Key Facts About Qasim ibn al-Hasan: 1. Lineage and Background: Father: Imam Hasan ibn Ali (a revered figure in both Sunni and Shia Islam). Grandfather: Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (the fourth Caliph and the first Shia Imam). Grandmother: Fatimah al-Zahra (daughter of Prophet Muhammad). Qasim belonged to the noble and highly respected Ahl al-Bayt (the family of the Prophet). 2.
