Are you planning a Hong Kong trip from India in 2026 and wondering how much it actually costs? 🇭🇰✈️ In this video, we start our ₹50,000 Hong Kong Budget Challenge and break down every major expense including flights, visa process, transport, hotel stay, and first impressions of the city. Most people say Hong Kong is expensive and not for budget travellers. But is that really true? 🤔 We decided to test it ourselves. In this Part 1 video, we cover: ✔️ Delhi to Hong Kong flight cost ✔️ When to book flights for cheapest price ✔️ Hong Kong visa for Indians (Pre Arrival Registration process) ✔️ Airport Express cost ✔️ Octopus Card explained ✔️ Metro vs Cab comparison ✔️ Budget hotel price in Hong Kong ✔️ Central vs Non-Central stay cost difference ✔️ Victoria Harbour free attraction experience We found direct return flights for ₹24,000 by booking 1.5 months early. But last-minute tickets can cost ₹35,000–₹40,000. For Indian passport holders, Hong Kong offers 14 days visa-free entry with simple online pre-arrival registration — no visa fee required. Transport in Hong Kong is extremely organized and clean. The Octopus Card works for metro, buses, ferries and even convenience stores. Budget hotels cost around ₹5,000–₹7,000 per night if you stay slightly away from Central. If you stay in Central Hong Kong, expect ₹10,000+ per night. By the end of Day 1, our total spending (flights + transport + stay) was already close to ₹30,000. So the big question remains — Can Hong Kong really be done under ₹50,000 from India? In Part 2, we will cover: Peak Tram cost Local food reality Daily expenses breakdown Shopping truth Hidden costs Watch till the end and subscribe for Part 2 of this Hong Kong budget series.
