POn another windy day, our family has set out on a new canoe trip down the Narrows of Harpeth. This 5.5 mile loop is perfect for families with class A-1 rapids. The gorgeous 3-4 hour paddle is located just west of Nashville. Bring your own canoe (kayak or even tube) or rent from one of the local shops. There is parking, but be sure to get there early because the parking spots fill up fast. There are also several places you can stop to enjoy a picnic or to let the kids splash in the water.
