Harvard School of Dental Medicine is affiliated with the Cambridge Health Alliance General Practice Residency Program, a one-year program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation with a status of approval without reporting requirements. CHA's unique model incorporates public health, clinical care, academics, and research. The didactic and clinical experience of general practice dental and medical residents is interwoven to provide training and opportunities in limited primary preventive care, with residents serving as oral physicians in addition to their responsibilities for dental care.
