“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14) Jesus doesn't say "try to become light" or "work harder to shine." He declares what's already true: You ARE the light. Not because of who you are in yourself, but because Christ, the true light, lives in you. From the first words of creation—"Let there be light"—to Jesus declaring "I am the light of the world," God has been pushing back darkness with His presence. Now He calls His Church to reflect that same light into a world that desperately needs it. Your life—your words, actions, integrity, and love—becomes a visible testimony to God's reality.
