Aspire Channel Swim Beach Landing 2021

After 14 hours and 1 minute swimming the English Channel as a six-person relay (Aspire Blue Dragons). We did it and we got to all swim to the beach together to celebrate (this was our dream come true). What made it so special was that one year before we attempted the swim, but one mile from the coast the weather changed and our swim was cancelled. We were all so upset – but the amazing charity Aspire wanted us to succeed and made it happen less than a year later. Although the water temperature was much colder and our training season short due to restrictions we completed the swim in just over 14 hours. So awesome.
