The Indian equity indices ended higher with Nifty above 25,800 in the volatile session today. Reliance Industries, Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Cipla, Axis Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were ICICI Bank, Eternal, Power Grid, JSW Steel, M&M. BSE Midcap index added 0.7%, and small cap index rose 0.5%.
