As I noticed, finally, that the NH-D15 G2 was also built with an offset on its heatpipes, I decided to replace my NH-D15S with a NH-D15 G2. What was not expected was to be able to fit a 120mmx25mm fan between the rear of the case and the NH-D15G2 heatsink! Thus in this setup, the NH-D15 G2 has 2 fans : --- 1xNF-A12x25 Chromax from rear (intake), connected to the same fan header as the exhaust 120mm fan --- 1xNF-A14x25r G2 Chromax in the U-shape of the heatsink For the results, well, they are pretty straight forward : ---RTX 5090 FE was within the 74°C (same as the Cerberus-X, but worse by 1-2° compared to the NH-D15s with 1xfan only) ---R7 9800 X3D was within the 54°C (WAY better than the NH-D15S by -14°C) SSDs temperatures are a bit warmer, by 1-2°C (50°c instead of 48-49°C) Overall, this is a great performance! The rear intake fan is putting the NH-D15 G2 in another league. Worth to note I did not detect any nasty turbulence/parasite noise.
