Spring Pleasures: Going to Visit an Inner-city Farm

Every Sunday me and my Dad we visit this farmhouse nearby which is really a cool place! Out there there the hen, the rooster, the pig, the dog, the cat, the pony, the horse, the cow, the sheep, the goat, and not least the rabbit have found a place to roam and delight us urban dwellers. Here I'm getting into contact with a few of them hens, we seem to communicate quite fine. My Dad's a bit wary of the roosters, of whom there are many out there, too, and they sometimes fight, but I feel no fear. It was a chilly spring day but we always have a blast when we go there and I was wearing the mittens my Grandma had made for me. Usually my Dad bakes salmon pies or meatpies that we then take along and eat among those winged creatures who beg to get their share. Sometimes if we make it in time (my Dad, unlike me he's a late sleeper) we also ride a prairie wagon pulled by this Northern Swedish ur-horse. It's a giant of an animal! Talk about fun!
