Recurrent RD with subretinal proliferation

17 years old high myope single eyed female presented more than a year ago with total RD with single lower break. Buckle surgery was performed with resultant flat retina and restoration of satisfactory vision. Days ago, she complained of metamorphobsia with diminution of vision. On examination, she had lower RD with lower macular detachment due to development of submacular band and no seen retinal breaks. Lens sparing vitrectomy was planned. A strongly tight posterior hyaloid with posterior insersion of vitreous base were found. Unimanual and bimanual peeling was tried. 90 degrees retinectomy was done to remove the band and ILM peeling was performed. Anter-posterior traction was still present that necessitated 360 retinectomy sparing the retina at the previous cryo scar which was strongelly attached.
