Concord River - Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge

In my exploits of https://fishingatwork.com I wondered about fishing the other local rivers, but never actually did it or even looked at them. Today I went to great meadows Wildlife refuge without even knowing it was connected to the Concord River! I didn’t have any gear. That goes to show you to always be prepared. To be honest, I didn’t want to go. It was a great sunny day and I wanted to fish the Charles. However, I missed a bigger opportunity of a different body of water. I guess sometimes I can be a salty dog. Seeing a dead crappie did not encourage me though. The amount of overhanging trees has to have tons of fish. Once I get my boat, which is now sold out!!!!! Hopefully a new stock comes in soon. I have to fulfill my promises. Don’t lose opportunities to fish when they come around. You never know where fish will be waiting!
