Back then, things were built to last, today we build today to destroy tomorrow, very sad. The royal bathroom for the sultans and their mothers was amazing as they had indoor plumbing while "Guardez l'eau" was still being shouted out in Europe and palaces in Europe were still using bedpans..etc... Walking through the royal hamman full of sunlights and coolness from the marble walls imagining how they used to carry out their daily routine in bathing and personal hygiene here...
