Financing Generation Y: Innovations in Start-up and Education Learning

Kiva is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of field partners, Kiva lets individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world. During this webinar, Kiva shared its experiences in youth focused lending, both from the borrower and lender perspective. Kiva has been using its flexible, risk tolerant capital to test and develop loan products specifically suited to the needs of youth, while also engaging young people to use microfinance and Kiva as a key tool in both learning and making a real, dignified, and sustainable difference in the world.
