Once the sun goes down, the venue transforms into a completely different world from daytime. The ice sculptures are illuminated with colorful lights, creating a magical and otherworldly atmosphere. Surrounded by light, the ice sculptures appear as if the ice itself is glowing. The changing colors over time are also one of the highlights of the nighttime experience. In the evening, the observation area becomes more crowded than during the day. However, even while waiting, the beautifully illuminated scenery makes the time feel special and enjoyable. On the way back, we were lucky enough to unexpectedly see a drone show taking place near Mt. Moiwa in Sapporo, making it a truly memorable end to the journey.
