Heat definitely matters when it comes to drying out firewood ! Under cover in the Poly carbonate poly tunnel, the firewood I cut and chopped up thirty days ago is close to the legal limit for moisture content if you wanted to sell it. The poly carbonate poly tunnel isn't as susceptible to condensation as the single skin green poly tunnels. Here in rural Ireland most people store their firewood in covered area with open walls. I'd say I'm getting dryer firewood fully enclosed in the poly carbonate poly tunnel which I'll be able to use for growing food for most of the year.
