It’s absolutely boiling in Benidorm today — maybe even too hot for a stroll? I start at the normally buzzing Levante Beach, but it’s strangely quiet. Hardly any sunbathers, and some of the beach bars are totally empty. Even the Benidorm seafront promenade looks deserted — not something you see often during the summer holidays. Maybe the heatwave’s sent everyone back to their Benidorm hotel pools or into the shade? I head over to The Strip to see if more holidaymakers are braving the heat. One thing’s for sure — even in extreme temps, Benidorm still has a unique vibe.
