Namaskaram, I am feeling elated right now, as I have got a chance to show you around my hometown - Thevalakkara, Kollam, in Kerala Vlogs. A place where my ancestors lived and passed on the culture from generations to generations. Since Kerala in itself is known to be God’s own place, hence the magnificent beauty in and around the village is beyond words. You will see one of the oldest Indian deity temples in Kerala, Thevalakkara Major Devi Temple. This temple has many stories to be told, therefore I have managed to get the mythological story that makes this temple interesting and special from rest of the others. I have craving to share the history of my village before, during and after the foreign invaders attacked us. These are intriguing Unique Stories from India about how Portuguese attacked our temples and how they were forced to ran away. So, if you have curiosity to know more about the Kerala’s small village’s history, I think, you will be intimidated. Even today, people in this village follow the simple lifestyle, very clean and peaceful place it is. By mere watching the video, you will feel peaceful, the contentment is in the environment, veneration rituals are heavenly and are worth experiencing once for sure.
