Both are OUTSTANDING! The Minichamp get the quality win. It comes with a very toothy, razor sharpness. Everything is tight and very smooth. The Gerber, not so much. All the tools are SUPER tight and gritty. The blades come moderately sharp at best. BUT that should not deter you from buying this tool! A little time spent sharpening and maybe loosen up the screws on the side fixes these minor issues. At $15-17 you can't go wrong. I've bought 4. That's 4 Gerber Dimes and its money well spent. As far as which one wins, i can't call it. The Dime has the better package opener, pliers, cost half as much, stronger construction, and a bigger stronger knife blade. The Minichamp has better quality out of the box, is lighter, has a pen, better Philips screwdriver, better scissors, and more tools. You can't lose either way. For $46 you can get both.
