You start by simply taking a picture of the document, uploading a pdf file, or otherwise entering the document into the system. This document is then sent to our servers, where we convert the image into text. Next, we have a three-step process: First, we have the classification step; we quickly check and classify the document on multiple aspects like document type (invoice, receipt, ID document, contract, license plate, etc.), language, and country of origin. This makes the data extraction easier because the system knows what to expect. Second, the actual data parsing or data extraction happens.
