The fastest way to fix a leaking sink!

In this ASMR Plumbing video, I’m showing the fastest way to fix your leak in sink. So I’ve been called out to this customer’s house as the sink is leaking every time they run water down it. Removing the old plug and waist indicate that there was no silicon used, especially on the top which doesn’t help and also after cleaning up the old washer on the underside I could see gaps everywhere where the sink is not level and the finish has lots of imperfections . To ensure that these imperfections and gaps are filled I decided to put some more silicon over the top of the washer so when the waist is screwed up tight but silicon will take up any gaps and completely seal the waste being leak free . I strongly recommend that you do use silicon or plumber as petty as the washers on these waists are really bad quality these days and also especially on this type of sink which is like a Belfast sink type because the mouldings and castings are made by hand there is lots of undulations And the car isn’t level for the washer to seal up against. So I hope this helps if you have a leaking sink please try out my method. Remove the old parts. Cleanup re-apply with silicon and it should fix your leaking issues.
