Have a shoulder labral tear (aka SLAP tear) that you want to fix without surgery? Dr. B shares her experience with the thousands of labral tears she’s seen, the reasons behind them, and whether it means surgery. Even if they're asymptomatic, SLAP tears are super common in baseball players. The big reasons come from kinetic chain imbalances - a muscle might not be firing properly, or your form is off.
