Aire de Jeux - French for playground - developed out of some of our first improvisation sessions as we began to explore an organic downtempo sound and find a way to jam with our various instruments along with using the beat sequencer and looping, which then grew into a composed song over time. The title is both a nod to the influence of the band Air that ultimately became incorporated into the song, as well as a description of this song as a sort of sonic playground for each of us to stretch out with our instruments over a relaxed groove.
