TRANSPORTATION Charlotte North Carolina you are just a hop, skip and a jump from your final destination with 2 airports! Did anyone say Miami getaway!? ATTRACTIONS Sports teams, music, arts, theme parks, outdoor adventure centers, science centers and more! EASY DAY TRIPS Need some mountain air? Or maybe a salty ocean breeze? Charlotte is only 2 hours from the most beautiful mountains on the east coast, and 3 hours from the ocean! GREAT FOR GOLF If you are a golfer look no further! LAKES, WATERWAYS, & OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES The largest man made lake on the east coast is 20 minutes from downtown! LOW TAXES Can I get a heck yes! LOW COST OF LIVING Compared to the rest of the US, Charlotte ranks lower in almost every category for cost of living! EDUCATION Our School systems offer so much from Pre K through University and beyond! CONS TRANSPORTATION Yes.... we also have our challenges and are working on improving bike lanes and other options for transport. MOSQUITOS They BITE! Need I say more? HUMIDITY While your skin will love it, you may want to bring an extra shirt with you in summer. TRAFFIC While not New York or LA bad, we do have traffic around rush hour times. GARDENING AND SOIL Red Clay anyone? Is it doable? Some say yes... and you'd have to ask them because most things die when I plant them. GROWING POPULATION Charlotte is growing by approximately 100 people a day... where will they all go?
