This trip was one for the books. We arrived in Paris one day early to spend time with our dear friends Tamir and Petra, who recently moved there. We stayed the night in their beautiful apartment before checking into Le Tsuba Hotel, our home for the rest of the trip. The city felt alive — glowing with summer light and full of anticipation. The reason we came? Roland-Garros. I was invited first by Wilson, and later by Renault, to witness the third round of one of the most iconic tennis tournaments in the world. Watching Sinner, Alcaraz, Fonseca, Draper, Musetti, and Rune play live on Philippe Chatrier — a stadium that truly belongs among the world’s most beautiful — was a surreal experience for someone who grew up with a deep love for the game. But Paris had more in store. On the second night, we found ourselves walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe, right when Paris Saint-Germain won against Inter in the Champions League Final. Within minutes, the celebrations turned into full-blown chaos. Tear gas, firecrackers, riot police, helicopters — the calm summer air dissolved into a surreal scene of anarchy. It was intense, wild, and something I’ll never forget.
