Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark, with a population of 1.4 million in the urban area. Originally a Viking fishing village established in the 10th century in the vicinity of what is now Gammel Strand, Copenhagen became the capital of Denmark in the early 15th century. First day we did the boat tour leaving from Nyhavn canal. Nyhavn is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen, Denmark. Stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the Inner Harbour just south of the Royal Playhouse, it is lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbours many historical wooden ships. Along its northern, sunnier side, Nyhavn is lined with many bars and restaurants facing the harbor. Nyhavn serves as a hub of canal tours, but it can be chilly. Second day we start the day visiting Christiana neighborhood. Christiania was founded in 1971 when a group of people hippies, artists and activists cut a hole in the fence to the military barracks in Bådmandsgade, and declared the area a free town, independent of Danish government laws and regulations. The area is loved by many but has been a turning point for strong debate due to illegal drug dealings, which have also been subject to safety concerns for visitors. Christiania is considered to be the fourth largest tourist attraction in Copenhagen, with half a million visitors annually. The Church of Our Saviour was our second stop of the day, A baroque church in Copenhagen, Denmark, most famous for the external spiral winding staircase that can be climbed to the top, offering extensive views over central Copenhagen. It is also noted for its carillon, which plays melodies every hour from 8 am to midnight. Then free tour through Copenhagen. We visited Amalienborg ( is the official residence for the Danish royal family)and Christiansborg palace (is a palace and government building on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen. Last of the day we went to Tivoli park. An amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen, Denmark. The park opened on 15 August 1843 and is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world. Third day we visited Frederikborg castle. Beautifully situated on three small islets in the Castle Lake in Hillerød. Within the castle’s walls there are major cultural attractions for the whole family, while the highly picturesque setting is perfect for peaceful walks in the gardens and boat trips. And the Kronborg castle. Discover one of Denmark's most important cultural and historical sights: the impressive Kronborg Castle, which from the outside appears as both as a charming but also brutal military fortress. Immortalised as Elsinore in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, Kronborg is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000. Remember to subscribe and hit the notification bell for more content. 🔔 Thank you for watching
