Soon as I heard this song when MKW released I knew I had to do this song at some point in the future. I didn't think it would be this year because initially I had a different song in mind for the year -end finale. But then later on, I just slowly came around on the idea and I couldn't be more glad. Lets go section by section, 0:00 Prelude This is the most lackluster part honestly, I did not enjoy working with this part much because I prefer working with melodies over chords usually. It's probably cause I'm a little stubborn with my methods and I don't usually do the easiest method just cause I find it unsatisfactory. Overall, this section sounds good and it does what is needed. No shot I was going to cut this part out like other uploads cause I always want to do the full version. 1:32 Section 1 This is a fun section, I finally found my groove here mostly cause I changed my process in doing one instrument at a time per section. Rather than 1 measure at a time which is a slog where I don't get to see how my work is panning out in a reasonable time. I also had a lot of fun with the drumming here! 3:42 Section 2 This is my favorite section. when I mostly completed this section that was when I realized this was my best remix already. Hearing the Saxophone, which was my first lead Instrument I ever used, do the harmonizations was just amazing. 4:56 Section 3 This Is where I introduced my rock/metal soundset into the song. I'm always nervous with the chords on my virtual guitars but I think I finally settled on good settings for the rhythm guitars and It sounds great in my opinion! 6:21 Section 4 Right this section, while not my favorite, is the best. The whole final stretch feel makes it really awesome. Hearing all my instruments come together in one final bid is always a treat. Yeah, if you couldn't tell, I'm kinda attached to my sounds despite them not being the highest quality. I also always do an original guitar solo in my finale remixes I didn't do as much original work with this one as it's easily the longest one I've done. I mostly followed along the violin's part with some extra flair. Then, I did a bit more original bits which align with how I did my other solos. I also put an ohmage to the N64 Rainbow Road in it, which is my favorite RR theme. Overall, this is easily my best remix in my opinion and while I couldn't get it before the new year, I don't think there was a better song to end the 2025 set of remixes!
