I’ve always been inspired by musicians who treat music as research. Bands like Khruangbin and Bon Iver, who immerse themselves in sounds from around the world to expand their creative horizons. Following their lead, I started exploring global music, discovering incredible bands like YIN-YIN, LOS Bitchos, and Glass Beams. Their psychedelic grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and Eastern influences became the foundation for this project. Please look them up and have a listen if you don't already know them and you like this! I set out to see what AI could create when guided by these inspirations. The result was a blend of psychedelic disco, Eastern melodies, and tribal percussive music that you can groove to but is also introspective and meditative. I initially made this just to have something interesting to play chess to, but I really want to share stuff like this for everyone to listen to. I don't believe it should be locked up and hidden solely because AI made it. If someone dances to this or feels something from it, then it has served its purpose. With that being said, I understand the hard work that it takes to manually record all these instruments so I don't want to profit from something like this and for that reason this music is released under Creative Commons.
