Poster owns no coptright to music or video. Producer, composer, writer, singer and musician Devon Martin was raised in Malton, Ontario with music a vital part of his life. Devon formed his own band, Shock Waves at 14. In the 80s, he started working with the Reggae band 20th Century Rebels and in 1983 they released a self-titled album and appeared at music festivals in Halifax, Winnipeg and Vancouver and also performed with 10-piece Toronto jam band Bong Conga Nistas. He toured Halifax as a guest rapper with Messenjah, and with Ojiji, (of Messenjah) and then chose an independent career and released his solo single, Mr. Metro winning a 1993 Juno Award in the category Best Rap Recording. The controversial video for the song won him an R'n'B Video of the Year award from MuchMusic. In 1992 Devon was signed to Capitol-EMI and released his first solo album It's My Nature. Devons videography includes two additional award winning videos: X Marks The Spot and Keep It Slammin. Although Devon continues to perform, he now spends most of his time producing and composing in Vancouver BC, devoting the remainder of his time to his young son and providing support to other artists.
