Blessing Hope Orphanage on Aunty Joy’s Birthday We were privileged to visit Hope Orphanage to bless the children on Aunty Joy's birthday. It was a beautiful yet emotional experience, especially as witnessing their living conditions deeply touched our hearts. During the visit, we were able to bless the children with the token gifts we brought. Needs Identified at Hope Orphanage During our visit, we observed several urgent needs and challenges the children are facing: Clothing: Many children have very few or no clothes. Some lack pants and basic undergarments. Footwear: Some children, including a little boy we saw, do not have shoes. Nutrition: Most of the children are malnourished and require proper meals. Babies urgently need age-appropriate baby food. Clothing Storage: Children currently spread clothes on the ground due to lack of hangers or railings. Playground: For social and emotional well-being, children need a safe space to play, even if basic. Educational Materials: Books and other learning supplies are needed to support their growth and development. We understand that we cannot meet all these needs immediately, but we are committed to helping within our capacity. Purchased Christmas clothes for all the children. Bought shoes for the little boy who had none. Created awareness of the children’s urgent needs and living conditions. Brought joy and encouragement to the children through visits and gifts. 🌟 Potential / Next Steps: Continue providing clothing, shoes, and essential supplies periodically. Support nutritional needs, including baby food and balanced meals. Improve living conditions, such as clothing hangers and storage solutions. Establish a safe playground for the children’s social and emotional development. Provide educational resources, including books and learning materials.
