…in which I settle on a cheap plastic point and shoot from 1996 as my recent travel companion to Tokyo Japan and Guilin China. Expectations of the Pentax IQZoom 115M are not high but can I get some decent shots out of some Kodak Colorplus and Ilford HP5 pushed to ISO 800? The results are more like photos your Mum used to take than professional portfolio shots. Plenty of blur to go with your grain, thanks to it's miniscule f/10.5 maximum aperture when zoomed in to 115mm. But just maybe there are enough salvageable photos in there for this piece of plastic to redeem itself. Note, Miguel is just the product of a vivid imagination and Photoshop Generative AI. Any resemblance to anyone my mother may have had a summer holiday affair with is totally coincidental.
