The RLX 355 is a lathe with the innovative ProtoTRAK control. It has a 15.6 inch touch screen with a wide range of options. The easy-to-use interface offers the possibility to produce single parts and small series very quickly and easily. With the control system, we are addressing a wide range of users. The operation is suitable for people without any CNC experience up to trained programmers. It thus closes the gap between conventional and fully automatic CNC machining. The RLX is made from one piece and has a solid cast bed. It has a 52 spindle bore, a turning diameter of 355 mm and a centre distance of 1000 mm. The high turning speed of up to 4000 rpm and the constant cutting speed function ensure a great finish. For maximum performance, we have two gear stages available. An air cushion supported tailstock enables us to machine different workpiece lengths. See for yourself during a digital demonstration.
