**Please pardon a split second of minor imperfection at the beginning of the video.** Anyway, it was another full day for me on the CNO&TP in Tennessee. I got to visit a couple of more spots on the line, namely the Tunnel 24 south portal in Nemo, TN and the hilltop overlooking the Tunnel 25 signals in Oakdale, TN. I started the day at the latter with a couple of trains in both directions. First up was southbound mixed freight NS 169 with an ACU in trail. Skipping ahead a bit, a light engine more slowly came by with duo SD40-2's, one of which had the "Operation Lifesaver" livery. My next stop was the south portal of Tunnel 24 in Nemo. As soon as I got there, a southbound ethanol came by, followed by northbound mixed freight NS 124 a little while later with some nice consist, including a CP AC44 and a trio of standard cab SD60's. So far I've seen quite a bit of these standard cabs as they are gradually disappearing. Unfortunately, the line went into a lull afterwards and I headed over to the Camp Austin bridge just north of Oakdale. Thinking back after this trip, I could have been a little bit patient if I waited out this lull at the tunnel and see a couple of more trains there, but oh well. Back at the Camp Austin bridge, the first train to greet me almost immediately was a northbound autorack/intermodal with the usual stuff. By about 4:30 PM, There was a chain of three trains in about a half hour's time, starting with southbound intermodals NS 215 & 229 just a few minutes apart, and then northbound mixed freight NS 170 coming north after waiting at Tunnel 26 for the two aforementioned trains. After supper, as the daylight gradually faded away, I returned to Spring City on the 3rd District mainly due to the available lighting for some night train action. After a couple of northbounds with the normal stuff, just before 9:30 PM, southbound mixed freight NS 111 came by with some high and wide loads right behind the power (northbound autorack NS 288 pulled into the siding at Roddy north of Spring City for this train plus one more). Immediately after, NS 282 (2 D9W's) pulled up to the north end of the siding in town waiting for southbound intermodal NS 295 to go by before continuing north. It was pretty cool to see a meet there. Anyway, I had a great time on the CNO&TP and have to say this line is definitely one to come to back in the future. Hopefully I can arrange a trip to check out the Kentucky side - I've seen pictures of lots of great spots there. *Note: I'm really really NOT GOOD w/ train symbols. I try to get as many as I can through my scanner or asking other railfans around me (if any).*
