A mysterious plague of exhaustion is sweeping through Baldur’s Gate, and the healers have run out of time. Amidst this chaos, political tension is boiling over as Durin Shattershield pushes a dangerous "Baldur's Gate for Baldurians" agenda. Something has to give. In our previous session, the "Steal to Save" crew officially formed to tackle a high-stakes heist within the walls of Baldur’s Gate. Here is a recap of who we are and the mission ahead: The Party Thistle Thorogood: A charismatic Human Rogue and member of the Guild with a silver tongue and a collection of "hidden blades." He serves as the primary contact for the job. A'liss: A diligent Grung Artificer and researcher with a talent for alchemy and mechanical tinkering. She is the mastermind behind the party’s specialized gear. Fira: An exuberant Tiefling Bard from the College of Whispers. Though she can be a bit of a lightweight with Syrian whiskey, her music and persuasive nature are key to the group’s social maneuvering. The Heist Plan The group has been hired by Thorin Shattershield, a dwarven patriarch, to orchestrate a "staged" robbery of his own estate. The primary objective is to secure a vial of DJ Elixir, a rare vitality potion that has proven to be the only known treatment for a mysterious plague ravaging the outer city. The plan involves infiltrating the Shattershield estate via the sewers during a scheduled guard drill. Once inside, the team must navigate to the storage rooms, retrieve the elixir, and escape back through the sewers to deliver the cure to the clerics in the outer city. However, the sudden appearance of Thorin’s son, Durin—a powerful and intimidating wizard—has cast a shadow of unease over the mission.
