A Massive Fire Broke out in Anaj Mandi | 43 Dead | India's18
A massive fire broke out in factory located at Anaj Mandi area of north Delhi on Sunday morning, 43 labourers are dead and many others injured, police said. A total of 59 people were inside the factory operating from a residential area when the fire broke out, they said. The fire was reported at 5:22 AM following which 30 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the fire and rescue people trapped inside the building. Chaotic scenes were witnessed at the site of the fire incident with relatives and locals rushing to help the injured. The fire squad managed to rush 50 people to four separate hospitals, where many succumbed to their injuries. While some of the people were taken to LNJP Hospital, others were taken to RML Hospital, Lady Hardinge Hospital and Hindu Rao Hospital as well.
