Ancient Thrace was the birthplace of the demigod Orpheus, the “father of songs.” It was here, now Romania and Bulgaria, that the Tartarian Tablets were discovered linking the ancient place names of #Tartaria and Thrace. #Orpheus was quoted by Plato on tuning, but this Tartarian or Thracian wisdom regarding music was mocked and abandoned by the Greeks.
