Everyone’s talking about Claude Code → Figma. In this video, I walk through a real, system-level workflow using Figma Console MCP and Story UI, and show how it compares to Figma’s new Claude → Figma integration. This isn’t about which tool is “better.” It’s about what problems they’re actually solving. In the demo, I: • Generate a real UI from live components using Story UI • Run it inside a development environment • Rebuild it in Figma using system components, tokens, and variables • Audit and correct system drift • Show how code and design stay aligned over time The key difference: this is about mapping working code back into governed design system assets, not just turning pages into editable layers. That distinction matters once you’re past early prototypes and into multi-team systems work. Resources mentioned: Figma Announcement (Claude → Figma) https://www.figma.com/blog/introducin...
